@zanshin The language USPS uses is worse than confusing, though. I've long resigned that their #s are just for delivery conf & not tracking.

@zanshin Meaning they do know first. USPS won't know about those packages until they're scanned later in the delivery process (if at all).

@zanshin As I understand it, Amazon (& other commercial shippers) introduce USPS packages into the mail system without an induction scan.
