Charlie Kaufman's beautiful "Synecdoche, New York". His writing is inventive & surreal as ever; direction whipsmart. Will watch again, soon.

Went to my brother James' graduation in KC today. Ceremony was a little rough, esp with @JackWorks wanting to play & sing. Good times, tho.

@thecurtain Very nice! The lake had recently flooded and wrecked much of the park, but camping near the open dam gates was nice & peaceful.

@cholick We use a $12 one from Target and it works fine. That said, I'd love to have one of the fancy ones the restaurants use. shrug

@cholick Well, rice is rice, I think, but it cooks more consistently than when I make it myself. It's seldom excessively sticky or dry. YMMV

@cholick We have a rice cooker. I'm undecided whether it's essential, but they're cheap and ours definitely cooks rice perfectly w/o fail.

@jcroft The statute of limitations on "sports" is a mere hour or so since they put results on the news. People should watch those near-live.

@astroot Haha. No worries. We usually start sports ~45 minutes late so we can FF through commercials & halftime & catch up right at the end.

Learning to turn Twitter off when watching sports on delay. @jcroft spoiled the Scripps Spelling Bee & @astroot spoiled the Cavs game. Lame.

@dereklarson Hahah. Yeah, looks like it's working already! I'm totally going to use the word "lickerish" now, though. Love that.

@brandon_r Woot! Congratulations, man. It's an incredibly fun thing, but you'll never be the same. Good luck! :)

@brianmckinney Brian, I'm so terribly sorry to hear that. We'll be thinking of you & your family. Let us know if we can help with anything.

@cameronmoll I do. Admittedly, I don't leave very many voice messages, but I revise my message about 6 times out of ten.

@timseley Ooooh, tricky. I calculated exactly one 1 or 5. Which is why I shouldn't answer math questions publicly.

@timseley 4 in 12 or 1:3. What do I win?

Weather.com's "Interactive Map" is one of the least-usable, most-frustrating interfaces I use & it keeps getting worse: http://bit.ly/yCVOH
